“What’s in My Bag?” – FLIP camera

Those schools  who recently attended the Small School Heathy Eating Project “What’s in my Bag?” used a FLIP Ultra Camera. It has come to our attention that the version of FLIP camera, the Mino, records in mpeg-4.

Mpeg-4 recording cannot be imported directly into Windows Movie Maker. It can, however, be converted into the necessary format but it will require additional software to convert it.


Clicker grids for e-safety

Crick Software is delighted to be involved in a project in conjunction with Childnet International, the TDA, Becta, the DCSF and the UK Council for Child Internet Safety. The project, Know IT All for primary schools, contains a 3D animation called the adventures of Kara, Winston and the SMART crew. Mission Impossiball – free event final places

The Mission Impossiball event will be repeated again early in September. This is a free event for Staffordshire schools – just send along a Teaching Assistant and 2 children to create your own part of Bob’s 2D animated mission.

The schools applying must not have previously attended this event. You will be provided with all materials to successfully repeat the event back in school, including a resources pack, webcamera  and Frames software.
