Bring Africa into your classroom

This is a fantastic website, with webcams situated around different nature reserves, most refreshed every 30 secs.  By far the most exciting webcam is the one situated at Nkorho Pan, a natural water hole in the Sabi Sands Private Game Reserve, which is streamed live and with sound.  I was absolutely fascinated and sat and watched for hours!  If you spot anything, please leave a comment to let people know!  I haven’t spotted anything yet, but the sound is fantastic!!  Why not leave it open on your whiteboard…………………

Africam – www.africam.com – Then click on the Nkorho Stream button on the menu bar.

    Hi Yvonne
Thanks for looking! My guess is that their server must be down, it was working fine last night and I am sure that they will have it up and running as soon as they can, keep checking, as will I! I will let you know when it is working again.

I may have misunderstood Yvonne’s comment – the link to Africam in the posting did not work, but I have fixed this and it is fine now. However, the link to the webcam on the Africam website is also down at the moment which is where my confusion came from! There is still lots to see however, and I will let you know when the Nkorho stream is up and running again.
